btw, list of loco, model and so on, are quite easy to read for me, also in German; this topic is really great for me, a big fan of tram (steam and electric)

in the past there was in Italy a big net of steam tram lines, mainly at 1435 gauge; most of loco were built in Germany (Borsig, H&S, Krauss, O&K, Esslingen, Hagans ...etc); unfortunatly, only few survided to demolition

In these days I'm modifing the 22500 "Elias", trying to make it a little bit more italian style...(and adding a sound decoder)

sorry again for my english language, please let me know if I'm against a rule of the forum (only german language, I suppose)

So, when you are on the way with this project, please take some pics and post them here. We are interested to see how you will bring about the special italian style of a tramway loco!

jetzt habe ich mal die Frage in die Runde:

Ist jemandem eine Kastendampflok bekannt mit kleinerer Spurweite als 1000mm?
Also zunächst mal mit 760 oder 750mm?

Ich meine jetzt nicht so etwas:

Das ist eine schöne jüngere Sonderanfertigung eines englischen Dampflokfans, und fährt (jetzt) auf 15´´auf der Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway in England. - Die Lok mit dem Holzkasten dahinter genauso.

Sondern ich meine schon Originale aus der Pionierzeit der Tramwayloks mit kleinerer Spur als 1000mm.
Meine bisherigen Recherchen förderten bisher immer nur Meter- oder Regelspur-Originale zutage.

Also, wenn jemand was weiss oder findet - bitte hier posten!

es gibt im www eine Zeichnungssammlung von Jim Fainges. Dort ist eine Kastenlok der englischen Firma HUNSLET gezeichnet, die auf 2'0'' fährt (oder fuhr). Der Name: LUNE RIVER TRAMWAY, eine 0-4-2 Lok

viiieeelen Dank für die prompte Antwort !!!
Genau das sind Informationen, auf die ich lange gewartet habe.

Das wäre also gleich eine Kastenlok auf 600mm-Spur - bzw.
exakt gerechnet auf 2 engl. Fuß = 609,6mm,
also eine echte Feldbahn-Kastenlok sozusagen, und noch dazu eine ganz hübsche!

Damit hatte ich jetzt nicht gleich gerechnet!

Dann müßte dazwischen doch auch noch eine 750er oder 760er aufzutreiben sein ... !!

P.S.: Der Zeichnung von der Hunslet-2´´-Kastenlok ist allerdings nicht genau zu entnehmen, ob vom Führerstand aus ein freier Umlauf für das Lokpersonal bis zur Rauchkammer vorhanden war, oder ob der Raum zugebaut war mit Wassertanks, Sandbehältern, etc. - es sieht eher danach aus! Dann wäre das bis vorn vorgezogene Dach eher ein Sonnenschutz - aber wie auch immer: die Lok ist ein hübsches Stück, mit Außenrahmen und Nachlaufachse!
